General Thoughts

These are highly rated, and it makes sense. It is a whey-casein blend, meaning it strikes the perfect balance of water retention and rise in baking (whey tends to rise too much and be too dry, casein tends to not rise at all). This is a brand I love - you honestly can't go wrong with them.

Price

At ~$17 per pound, these are pretty expensive, but could be worse. 7/10.

Fullness Factor

Since this has casein, it thickens up nicely, which I think makes it more filling (though it might be in my head). Of course, these all have great macros. 9/10.

Nutrition

For protein powders, this is basically an automatic 9/10 unless there's a good reason to do less or more.

Chocolate Truffle


  • Taste: Honestly, this slightly let me down. It just tastes like a really really good, slightly rich chocolate. I definitely was hoping for more truffle, but it's still very tasty compared to most proteins. 8/10.
  • Overall: 8.25/10

Cake Pop



  • Taste: Wow! Probably the best birthday cake flavor I've ever tasted in a protein. I don't really get a lot of pop, but it's definitely there (just subtle). I'm honestly just not a massive fan of birthday cake flavored stuff, but if you're into that, this is for you. 8/10.
  • Overall: 8.25/10

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup

  • Taste: Holy shit, this is delicious. It's not quite Reese's level - the peanut butter flavor is milder than I'd have liked, but it's still really really good. 8.75/10.
  • Overall: 8.5/10

Peanut Butter Cookie


  • Taste: Honestly, a very slept on flavor. As a lover of all things peanut-butter, I really liked this. This really leans into the cookie aspect - it's a milder peanut butter than I expected, but it was delightful. 9/10.
  • Overall: 8.5/10

Strawberry Cheesecake




  • Taste: This is a bold flavor, and honestly quite impressive. Obviously it won't go with every recipe, but it works - it tastes literally identical to strawberry cheesecake. 8.5/10.
  • Overall: 8.5/10

Snickerdoodle


  • Taste: This is more like a snickerdoodle than Quest's cookies for sure. Unfortunately, that means less cinnamon flavor (I love cinnamon), but it's still pretty good. IMO it's basically just Peanut Butter Cookie, but slightly worse. 8.25/10.
