General Thoughts

This is another staple of mine, mostly due to the price. They had a notable controversy and reformulation over their use of IMO fibers, and now typically net 10-11g carbs per bar (whereas before they were half of that). Their sweetner of choice is erythritol, which I like, and the ingredients and protein tend to be more-or-less clean. The macros and flavors are slightly worse than Quest, but honestly for 1/3rd of the price, they're a pretty damn close approximation. They are also fabulous when microwaved, but don't quite puff up the way quest bars do.

Price

The price on all of these tends to be solid. You can usually get them for ~$1/bar at Costco. 15/15.

Fullness Factor

These are all high in fiber, have excellent macros, and take a long-time to eat (which is good!). 13/15.

Flavors

Chocolate Peanut Butter Chunk





  • Nutrition: You can't go wrong with 21P/180Cals, 10g fiber, low sugar, low saturated fat. 33/35.
  • Taste: Despite the name, I don't get any peanut butter with this, and honestly don't love it. Microwaving it didn't improve it either. It's not bad, but it's also not good. 23/35.
  • Overall: 85

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough







  • Nutrition: Exactly the same, except with 10 more calories (21P/190Cals). Still very solid, especially given the impressively low sugar alcohols (which are erythritol by the way). 31/35.
  • Taste: I like this a lot better. It's not quite as good as the quest, but it really holds its own. It's very artificial tasting however, which I don't mind, but is still worth noting. 28/35.
  • Overall: 87/10.

Chocolate Brownie









  • Nutrition: Same as the chocolate chip cookie dough. 31/35.
  • Taste: This is even better than the chocolate chip cookie dough, though if you couldn't already tell, I have a thing for chocolate ;). Quest has a more authentic brownie flavor, but this is still really really good. 30/35
  • Overall: 9.1/10
