General Thoughts

These market themselves as a protein snack for girls, and I'm all for it! This is a brand I respect and that I've heard good things about, and though I'm not a big fan of gender-ifying our products, I think they do an excellent job of appealing to a market that is often left out of the conversation by other supplement companies. Overall, (probably) a good company!

Price

Normally these run at ~$2/bar, with occasional sales. 12/15.

Flavors

Confetti Cake

  • Fullness Factor: These aren't particularly big or high calorie. I believe they were ~46g/bar, so slightly less than Pure Protein, for slightly fewer calories. They have a moderate 5g of fiber and 16g protein. The hard texture makes them take a while to eat, which definitely contributes to fullness. Still, the package size is deceivingly big for such a small bar. 11/15.
  • Nutrition: These nearly pass the test, but bonus points for being low calorie (16P/170Cals). They are moderate fiber and moderate saturated fat (5g, 4g) and relatively low sugar (5g, 1g added). The protein is high quality (Whey), and they are sucralose sweetened. 30/35.
  • Taste: These were disappointing to be honest. Tasted like generic protein bar with cake-flavoring extract thrown in. 24/35.

Cookies & Cream

  • Fullness Factor: These are practically identical to the Confetti Cake, except with 10 more calories. 11/15.
  • Nutrition: Again, nearly identical, at 16P/180Cals. The extra calories seem to come entirely from an extra gram of saturated fat (5g) and more added sugars (3g). Still, for the calories and macros, 28/35.
  • Taste: Shockingly good compared to the Confetti Cake. This is a very cookie-focused "cookies and cream", but not quite oreo flavored. I liked it a lot. 28/35.

Caramel Crunch

  • Fullness Factor: These are more or less identical, except with more sugar and calories. 10/15.
  • Nutrition: These are 10 calories more than Cookies and Cream, with over double the added sugar and nearly double the saturated fat (but the same amount of protein!). (16P/190Cals). 26/35.
  • Taste: Very very good. It wasn't near as hard as the other ones - this one had a soft, easily breakable texture. You could definitely taste the 7g added sugar. 31/35.
