General Thoughts

These have been out forever, and are honestly my go-to. They're a bit pricy, and some may not like the added sugars, but they tend to be pretty high protein and pretty solid overall. They've got some very unique flavors. I'm not a huge fan of their non-ice cream products. Also, they tend to be a pit pricy, frequently at $5/pint. Overall, they're a pretty solid choice.

Price

The price tends to be ~$5/pint, which I would say is roughly average for this space. 10/15.

Fullness Factor

These are quite filling for ice cream. They are high protein and high fiber, and give a pretty good volume/calorie ratio. Only complaint is the high sugar content. 12/15.

Flavors

Peanut Butter Cup

  • Nutrition: These are pretty solid, with 18g protein and only 330 calories. They do come with 12g added sugar, and 18g fiber. The protein is high quality. It goes without saying, but don't look too closely at the ingredients list - but they are erythritol sweetened, which is nice. 29/35.
  • Taste: Delicious, but not as advertised. Tastes more like vanilla with peanut swirls than an actual peanut butter cup. 25/35.
  • Overall: 77
Peanut Butter Swirl (Canada)

  • Nutrition: This is higher protein (~20g/pint), the same calories (~330/pint), and lower sugar than the American counterpart (9g). It is notably lower fiber (only 4g). The ingredients tend to be very similar in Canada. 30/35.
  • Taste: Unlike the American counterpart, this is perfectly as advertised and tastes incredible. The actual peanut swirls are amazing. Otherwise it's a simple vanilla base. As a peanut butter fanatic, I loved this. The texture is different than in America - definitely less airy and harder, and needs to be left out longer. 31/35.

Cookies and Cream

  • Nutrition: Again, solid, with 16g of protein, 11g added sugar, and 310 cals. It is very high fiber (18g). 29/35.
  • Taste: They really emphasize the cream rather than the cookie - this was not as reminiscent of an Oreo as I would have liked. Still it was very good. 26/35.
  • Overall: 78

Blueberry Crumble

  • Nutrition: Not as great - it's low calorie (330), but lower in protein (15g) and much higher in added sugars (20g). 24/35.
  • Taste: This is divine. I'm not a fruity guy, but I LOVED this. It's a really unique flavor, and they killed it. It's a bit airy, but very delicious overall. 32/35.
  • Overall: 78

Oatmeal Cookie

  • Nutrition: This has great macros (for ice cream). 16P, 290 Cals, only 11g added sugar. It's high fiber too! 30/35.
  • Taste: A very unique flavor - it doesn't taste like an Oatmeal Cookie, but it definitely tastes like Oatmeal. Luckily, I love oatmeal. 29/35.
  • Overall: 81

Chocolate

  • Nutrition: Similarly great macros! 18P, 300Cals, 11g added sugar. 31/35.
  • Taste: Very chocolaty. A bit airy, but I honestly couldn't tell it apart from regular chocolate ice cream if I didn't know. 28/35.
  • Overall: 81

Chocolate Cake Batter

  • Nutrition: At 18P/330Cals, this is basically just their chocolate but with 30 extra calories and 4g extra added sugars. 28/35.
  • Taste: I had high hopes, given I loved their chocolate, but this was honestly just like chocolate with sprinkles and cake extract? I don't know - it didn't do it for me. 23/35.
  • Overall: 73

 Chocolate Mocha Chip

  • Nutrition: Again, chocolate but with 20 more calories and 2g more added sugar. 30/35.
  • Taste: This fell flat, which disappoints me as someone who loves coffee flavored stuff. You could definitely taste the coffee, and it definitely didn't taste bad, but I didn't love it. I would take their regular chocolate over this. 23/35.
  • Overall: 76

 Candy Bar

  • Nutrition: This is not great - the calories are creeping up (360), the protein could be higher (17g), and there's as much added sugar as there is protein (17g). 22/35.
  • Taste: Delicious, like vanilla ice cream with Snickers swirled in. I really loved the mix ins and honestly just wish there were more. Overall it isn't an every-day thing, but it's pretty solid. 31/35.
  • Overall: 75

Birthday Cake

  • Nutrition: This is one of their lower calorie ones (300), and has an impressive 16g protein. It does however have nearly as much added sugar, with 14g. 28/35.
  • Taste: A very vanilla-y birthday cake, which I found pleasant, but different. 28/35.
  • Overall: 78

Mint Chip

  • Nutrition: Same as PB Cup, except replace some of the protein (16g) with added sugar (16g). 25/35.
  • Taste: A very mild mint which I loved. Reminds me exactly of Bryers mint chip from my childhood. 30/35.
  • Overall: 78

Salted Caramel

  • Nutrition: Lower in calories (300), but also in protein (16g) and high-ish in added sugar (15g). 27/35.
  • Taste: This just wasn't exceptional for me. I'd rather get the chocolate for the same calories, more protein, and less sugar. 23/35.
  • Overall: 73

Chocolate Caramel Brownie

  • Nutrition: On the higher end of calories (360), but also in protein (19g) and equally high in added sugar (19g). 24/35.
  • Taste: This tastes a lot like their regular chocolate, which I loved, but honestly the caramel brownie bits were a little disappointing. They tasted artificial - almost not worth the extra 60 calories and 8g of added sugar. It's like the brownies they added packed the same calories as regular brownie, but without the taste that should come with it. The mix-ins also were a little scant in my pint. Overall I'll stick to the regular chocolate. 29/35.
  • Overall: 75

Chocolate Ice Cream Cake

  • Nutrition: Pretty similar to the other higher calorie pints, but slightly less protein and sugar. 24/35.
  • Taste: Actually very good. I don't know if it's worth an extra 60 calories compared to regular chocolate, but I found this very pleasant, and the mix-ins definitely make it! It's definitely much much much better than Chocolate Cake Batter. 31/35.
  • Overall: 77

Red Velvet

  • Nutrition: Pretty similar to the above, except more sugar than protein. 22/35.
  • Taste: Very good, but my expectations were set far too high by blueberry crumble (honestly, too high to meet). Still, a solid 30/35.
  • Overall: 79

Strawberry

  • Nutrition: As far as I can tell, this has the best macros by far, at 18P, 290 Cals, only 9g added sugar. It's high fiber too! 32/35.
  • Taste: Very good, but a much more artificial chocolate than I was expecting. Whereas Nick's strawberry is very decadent and rich, this was more like the strawberry you get from a store-brand Neopolitan. Still, pretty good. 27/35.
  • Overall: 79

Chocolate Vanilla Twist

  • Nutrition: Awesome protein to calorie ratio. 31/35.
  • Taste: Pretty good. Love their chocolate, but somehow not as artificial as regular twist soft-serve?? 30/35.
  • Overall: 81

Chocolate Covered Strawberry

  • Nutrition: Higher in calories, and more added sugar than protein (20g added sugar vs 14g protein). 23/35.
  • Taste: Just like their regular strawberry, but with some chocolate bits I guess? 26/35.
  • Overall: 69

Caramel Macchiato

  • Nutrition: Equal protein to sugar (16g). 27/35.
  • Taste: Honestly very good. I just wish their was slightly more coffee flavor, but I enjoyed this a lot. 28/35.
  • Overall: 75

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

  • Nutrition: 16P, 19 added sugars, and among their highest calorie. 22/35.
  • Taste: The mix-ins are great. In particular, it's like they use actual cookie dough chunks. 30/35.
  • Overall: 72
