General Thoughts

These are unique and delicious. None of the products are particularly banging, but they're consistently very good. They use erythritol, and you can really taste it, but I don't particularly mind that. Ingredients are clean and protein is high quality. Only complaint is price - they tend to be sold in smaller packs for more money than your average bar.

Price

These typically run at slightly more expensive than your typical protein bar (well, typically the same price but for a box of less...). Expect $2-3.5 per protein snack. 10/15.

Fullness Factor

These are bigger than protein bars and heavier, yet they honestly don't keep me very full for the macros. They are relatively high in fiber. 12/15.

Flavors

Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pastry

  • Nutrition: Immaculate. 20P/180Cals, very low fat, low sugar, high fiber, quality protein. Only complaint is slightly high sugar alcohols (9g), but even that is erythritol, so it's unlikely to upset your stomach. 32/35.
  • Taste: I don't love these. You definitely need to microwave them, but even then they taste artificial. You definitely get the light/airy erythritol taste. 29/35.

Strawberry Pastry

  • Nutrition:  Identical to the above.  32/35.
  • Taste:  Still artificial, and not very strawberry-esque, but this one did remind me of a strawberry popart (which is an artificial strawberry) quite a bit. 30/25.

Chocolate Cake Pastry

  • Nutrition:  Identical to the above.  32/35.
  • Taste: Doesn't taste like chocolate. Doesn't have the airy erythritol taste to the same extent, but it's still there. Loses points for misleading me into thinking I would love it (it's not chocolate). Still pretty good. 27/35.

Hot Fudge Sundae

  • Nutrition:  Identical to the above.  32/35.
  • Taste: I don't understand it, but this was 1000x better than the chocolate. Did it taste anything remotely like a hot fudge sundae? Not really, but it was a really really good creamy chocolate, and the filling was generous. I only really take away for accuracy. 31/35.

Chocolate Sweet Roll

  • Nutrition:  Still good (20P/220Cals), but this has 40 more calories than the pastries, with more net carbs, slightly more fat, and more sugar alcohols. 27/35.
  • Taste: I knew it was unrealistic, but based on the packaging I was expecting a chocolate doughnut. It's not dough-y at all - it's like a sweet bread with chocolate icing. Still, it was very tasty, and I liked this chocolate more than the other one somehow. 29/35.

Wild Berry Sweet Roll

  • Nutrition: These are more-or-less the same as a pastry, with 190Cals/20P. Only difference is a little higher in net carbs. 31/35.
  • Taste: Unlike the chocolate, this gave me no pre-conceptions that I was heading into donut territory, so it automatically wins in terms of flavor accuracy. It was honestly very pleasant, and I loved the filling on the inside - my only complaint is that there wasn't enough of it. Texturally, I also think it's closer to a cinnamon-roll than donut (but obviously without any cinnamon flavor). 30/35.
